Prospective Customer,
I shear sheep. For some shepherds that is enough qualification to hire me to shear their sheep. For others, I would like to tell you a little about myself.
I began shearing about eight years ago on my family farm in western Massachusetts. I slowly began shearing for others in the area, and in 2007 I sheared 3,500 sheep for over 160 farms all over New England and New York. I spent the winter of '08 and '09 shearing sheep in New Zealand, to improve my skills and experience.
My passion has always been raising sheep. I know how hard it is to make it as a sheep producer, even little things like finding a shearer. I look forward to meeting and working with you.
What You Can Expect From Me
Focus on Quality: Whether you are a spinner or raise meat breeds, everyone appreciates a good job
Care in handling your sheep: Everyone values their sheep and does not want to see them handled rough. I couldn’t be a shearer if I had a short temper.
Reliability: The day we agree on is the day I will be there. I do not cancel without sufficient notice. This is probably the one area I really differentiate myself from other shearers.
Loyalty: As long as I’m shearing, you will be a valued customer of mine. This also means I will do my best to accommodate your requests.
